What are the responsibilities and job description for the Young Families Coordinator - Broadway High School (2025-2026) position at San José Unified School District?
The impact you will have: San José Unified is seeking a passionate educator with early childhood experience to lead our innovative Young Families Center. Our Young Families Center provides early childhood care and education for the children of our San José Unified students who are balancing completing their education with young family life. The Center serves children from 3 months to 3 years old. The Young Families Coordinator would supervise the infant/toddler teachers and paraeducators.
In addition to managing the Young Families Center, you will teach early childhood development classes to current and expectant young parents to support them in this significant life transition. The Coordinator will also manage the Center’s early childhood development grants.
To qualify for this role, you will need a valid California teaching credential, as well as a Child Development Program Director Permit.
