Job Purpose: To support both location site with both Front and Back Office to ensure an efficient patient workflow. Support any and all administrative work relative to both the Front and Back office. Assist the health care provider in providing care to patients within the capacity of a medical assistant.

Job Duties:
Front Office
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors
- Respond and comply to requests for information
- Schedule patient appointments
- Provide patient letters
- Complete Patient Forms
- Ensure reception area is well maintained, neat and clean
- Reschedule missed appointments
- Checking in patients
- Verify insurance eligibility
- Collect co-pays and payments
- Maintain and manage patient records ensuring is up to date and correct
- Move patients through appointments as scheduled.
- Submit Prior Authorizations
- Requests for Medical Records
- Complete other clerical duties as assigned
Back Office
- Verifies patient information by interviewing patient/parent; recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit.
- Prepares patients for examination by obtaining vital signs; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; performing tests such as vision screen and hearing screen; obtaining chief complaint and other pertain medical history.
- Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; keeping patient information confidential.
- Prepare and administer immunizations as ordered by a health care provider
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms clean
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
