What you will do:
- Provide medication management and psychiatric evaluations for adults admitted to our mental health partial hospitalization programming (outpatient setting) for a case load of 10 clients.
- Write appropriate clinical documentation.
- Prescribe psychiatric medication to mental health clients.
- Collaborate with PHP team clinicians weekly by participating in team huddles and email/phone call correspondence.
- Be on site for appointments during programming hours (9am-3pm) one day a week, flexibility with which day (M-F).
What you're good at:
- You have an active license as a psychiatric nurse practitioner
- You have at least 1 year of adult psychiatric experience
- You are aware of evidenced-based practices to implement during the medication management process
- You have a working knowledge of psychiatric conceptualization and implementation including charting and progress notes and related documentation skills.
- You have an ability to build strong rapport with clients and are a collaborative team member
