Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a team of skilled and dedicated land surveyors
- Perform a wide variety of tasks including construction staking, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, project control, running level loops, and flood plain surveys
- Utilize survey grade equipment including Trimble R10 & R12 GPS receivers, Trimble Robotic total stations, and digital leveling equipment
- Travel to project sites (up to 10 weeks of travel per year)
- Perform office tasks including survey calculations, preparing survey notes & exhibits, using AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center, and MS Office
Minimum Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- AS or BS in Land Surveying or Construction Technology, a Land Surveying minor, or related degree (preferred)
Required Qualifications (skills/experience/certifications):
- 1 years of surveying experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency with Trimble GPS, robotic total stations, and digital leveling equipment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication and note taking skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to operate independently in the field
Preferred Qualifications (skills/experience/certifications):
- Knowledge of Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD
