Responsibilities:
SANCORP is seeking a Security Cooperation Assessment, Monitoring, and Evaluation (AM&E) Support Lead to support the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Global Partnerships (DASD GP) as the focal point for Security Cooperation and Building Partnership Capacity (BPC), Institutional Capacity subject matter expertise, and the Department of Defense (DoD) to lead to prioritize, integrate, and evaluate bilateral and multilateral SC activities to strengthen U.S. and global security. The following are examples of responsibilities:
- Support the development, management, and oversight of policies, processes, and templates for DoD’s security cooperation enterprise. This includes the preparation of Policy memoranda and other correspondence.
- Develop and maintain the Department of Defense policy for AM&E of significant security cooperation initiatives. This includes multi-year, multi-authority security cooperation initiatives.
- Analyze and provide technical support to independent strategic evaluations.
- Coordinate and track the implementation of recommendations from strategic evaluations.
- Prepare and coordinate briefings, memoranda, letters, reports, studies, instructions, directives, e-mails, and other written documents.
- Support AM&E briefing requirements for congressional engagements, including preparation materials for briefing strategic evaluations.
- Coordinate strategic evaluation of public summaries for publication on the Department of Defense website.
- Develop and maintain guidance for the independent publication of unclassified strategic evaluations.
- Provide recommendations on security cooperation process and program improvement, including recommendations on potential changes to legislation.
- Monitor security cooperation activity and coordinate with the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, Combatant Commands, Military Departments, and other stakeholders in the security cooperation enterprise on capturing and disseminating/posting best practices and lessons learned.
