DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
As Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans for our QSR restaurant concept, driving marketing initiatives aligned with business goals, and overseeing all marketing activities to drive business growth, brand awareness, and customer engagement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective brand positioning, customer acquisition, and retention strategies. You will have sole accountability for the National Advertising Fund.
OTHER DUTIES:
- Develop and implement strategic brand and marketing plans and initiatives to drive franchise growth and achieve marketing goals for our QSR franchise organization.
- Oversee and manage all marketing vendors, including social media and advertising campaigns, print, point of sale, premiums and direct mail.
- Oversee QSR loyalty programs. Monitor and drive adoption and engagement.
- Monitor and analyze QSR market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and challenges. Evaluate and leverage marketing technologies, tools, and platforms to enhance marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage the marketing budget to include the National Advertising Fund, allocate resources effectively, and optimize marketing investments for maximum ROI. Develop preliminary annual budget for Advertising and Development Fund. Review monthly with President.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, vendors, and agencies.
- Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics for Company-owned QSRs and Franchised restaurants, such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, and campaign ROI.
- Provide analysis and written evaluations of all major marketing programs.
- Work with Franchise Sales on revisions and updates for Franchise Disclosure Document.
- Assist with planning and attending various events to include annual convention and Franchisee/Zor meetings and National Advisory Council meetings.
- Participate in restaurant Discovery Days and training in marketing and brand standards.
- Review and update Marketing Manual as needed.
- Travel required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BA in Marketing; advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience in a national, QSR franchise business experience.
- Proven experience (5 years) as a Marketing Director or in a similar senior marketing leadership role, with a strong track record of driving successful marketing and brand strategies and initiatives.
- Excellent understanding of marketing principles, strategic planning, and integrated brand and marketing campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, market trends, and performance metrics to drive marketing optimization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience in managing marketing budgets and Ad Funds, allocating resources, and optimizing investments.
- Proven experience in developing and executing digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking to drive marketing initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment while working independently.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas and solutions.
- Strong knowledge of marketing technologies, tools, and platforms to enhance marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
SALARY RANGE:
$100k - $120k
