Seasonal Salary of $32,000 May - Aug.
We seek a qualified Tennis Teaching Professional to lead lessons, clinics, and team practices. When not actively instructing on the court, this individual will support the tennis program by assisting with event programming, addressing member inquiries, and providing additional support to enhance the member experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead tennis lessons, clinics, and team practices – Provide high-quality instruction.
- Assist with special events – Actively participate in all tennis-related events and support to enhance the member experience.
- Maintain court conditions – Ensure that courts are properly swept, lined, and safe for play, and collaborate with desk staff regarding any court closures.
- Enforce club rules – Understand and enforce all club rules and regulations.
- Assist members with racquets and recommendation of appropriate equipment.
- Support tennis staff during peak times – Assist with member inquiries and provide additional support during busy periods.[Ma1]
- Fill in for tennis games when needed and available.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace – Keep the office neat and collect and store all teaching balls at the end of the day.
- Ensure professional appearance – Adhere to scheduled hours by punching in on time and wearing the proper uniform per Sand Point Country Club.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Tennis Coordinator or GM – Perform additional duties to ensure the smooth operation of the tennis program.
Education / Experience:
- USTA or USPTA Tennis Professional Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tennis instruction.
- Experience in tennis events or running tennis programs is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to high-quality member service and a professional demeanor.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Position requires frequent standing, reaching, bending, and walking.
Hours: Flexibility to work all days of the week, times of day vary based on scheduled events and or lessons.
Pay: May - Aug Seasonal salary $32,000 or approximately $55/hour.
