SandBay Primary Urgent Care is looking for a team-oriented, patient-focused healthcare Front Desk Coordinator to join our growing organization. You will work under the direction of your practice physician and office managers. The position responsibility includes but is not limited to the following:
Phone Station
- Greet and resolve calls in a friendly, professional manner using suggested script.
- Scheduling, canceling and rescheduling patient appointments.
- De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied patients, offering patient assistance.
Front Desk
- Welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the telephone.
- Collect patients demographic info, identification, insurance, pharmacy.
- Collect payment per billing department guidance.
- Scheduling, canceling and rescheduling patient appointments per provider.
- Collaborate with the team to constantly improve customer service and workflow.
Qualification:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior medical customer service is plus
- Knowledge of EclinicalWorks is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace is a plus
- Computer literate with an above-average typing speed.
- Superb verbal, written communication and listening skills.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment.'
