IPS - Rubbercraft is seeking a Production Scheduler/Expeditor 1 who will be in a highly visible planning role that is responsible for all New Product Planning activities such as; scheduling, planning, and expediting new projects through engineering and production. In addition, this person will be responsible for pushing orders within the Supply Chain process in order to meet and support strategic customer requirements and inventory goals. This position will lead the dialogue within Engineering, Sales and Supply Chain, with the objective of achieving a great customer experience.

The position’s specific duties include but are not limited to the following:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Mission, Vision and Values of the Company.
- Drive positive customer experience and actively contribute to continuous improvement.
- Participates in Planning process and understand how the planning activities are been done.
- Create cell / detail level of the production schedule for the tables/ cells/ presses.
- Report and communicate to the VSM and VP of Operations status of orders to ensure customer commitment dates are met in order to maintain a high rating on customer scorecard reports.
- Responsible for tracking between 100-150 individual jobs from start to finish; and accountable for communicating critical issues in a timely manner to the appropriate departments to meet customer expectations and ensure on-time delivery. Offer sound solutions to mitigate schedule and delivery performance risk.
- Define and communicate capacity constraints and suggest solutions to overcome constraints.
- Effectively interact with Planning, Engineering, quality, Purchasing and Project Management to ensure all materials, services, tooling and resources are allocated appropriately to support on-time delivery.
- Determines detailed material requirements using bills of material, prints, customer specs as source data, and issues material orders to production to manufacture parts, based on customer requirements.
- Periodically participate in New Product status meetings with the customer.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 1-2 plus years working experience in a manufacturing environment (Aerospace preferred) in a materials or engineering role.
- High School or GED equivalent
- Extensive experience in a high mix, low volume work environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- APICS certification/CPSM preferred

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- On the job training will be conducted on Procedures and Work Instructions from the area of responsibility.
- Yearly refresher training on FOD, Calibration, Documentation control and Safety Topics.
