What You Will Be Doing: As a Help Desk Support Technician, you will:
- Provide technical support for Windows-based environments and some Mac issues.
- Troubleshoot software issues (including Microsoft Office, browsers, Adobe products, etc.) and hardware issues like printers and peripherals.
- Respond to service requests via email, chat, or phone, using tools like Atera and Connectwise Control.
- Support over 300 end-users, offering both remote and onsite assistance in the Chicago area.
- Handle setup and configuration of workstations and equipment.
- Follow up on service tickets to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
MUST have:
- At least 1 year of help desk experience troubleshooting in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with users at all technical levels.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for on-site support in the Chicago area.
- Proof of vehicle insurance
- A passion for learning and the ability to adapt to a constantly changing tech environment.
- Self-accountability and a proactive attitude toward solving problems.
Nice to Have:
- 1 years of help desk experience
- Apple Mac OSX experience
- Familiarity with ticketing systems like Atera and Connectwise Control
- Knowledge of Google Workspace
- Experience with conference room audio/video equipment
