Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Car Accessory Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of automotive accessories. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems, hands-on technical skills, and a passion for cars and automotive accessories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and repair car accessories, including steps, lighting, bed liners, etc...
• Provide recommendations to customers on suitable car accessories based on their needs and vehicle specifications.
• Ensure proper wiring, calibration, and functionality of all installed systems and accessories.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and services provided.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure all work meets company and industry standards.
• Stay up-to-date with new automotive technologies, trends, and products.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns regarding installations and repairs.
• Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies, manufacturer specifications, and industry best practices.
  
• Keep work area clean and organized, maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or technical certification in automotive technology preferred).
• Proven experience in automotive accessory installation, electrical systems, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems, wiring, and schematics.
• Hands-on experience with tools and equipment used in accessory installation.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position.
• Work is typically performed in a workshop or garage setting.
• Some positions may require working outdoors or in various weather conditions, depending on the nature of the installation.
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy parts and tools (up to 50 lbs).
• Prolonged standing, bending, and kneeling during installations.
• Good manual dexterity and coordination for working with small and intricate parts.
