Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Car Accessory Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of automotive accessories. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems, hands-on technical skills, and a passion for cars and automotive accessories.

Key Responsibilities :

Install, test, and repair car accessories, including steps, lighting, bed liners, etc...
Provide recommendations to customers on suitable car accessories based on their needs and vehicle specifications.
Ensure proper wiring, calibration, and functionality of all installed systems and accessories.
Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and services provided.
Perform quality control checks to ensure all work meets company and industry standards.
Stay up-to-date with new automotive technologies, trends, and products.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns regarding installations and repairs.
Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies, manufacturer specifications, and industry best practices.
Keep work area clean and organized, maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or technical certification in automotive technology preferred).

Proven experience in automotive accessory installation, electrical systems, or related fields.

Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems, wiring, and schematics.

Hands-on experience with tools and equipment used in accessory installation.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Working Conditions :

Full-time position.

Work is typically performed in a workshop or garage setting.

Some positions may require working outdoors or in various weather conditions, depending on the nature of the installation.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift and move heavy parts and tools (up to 50 lbs).

Prolonged standing, bending, and kneeling during installations.

Good manual dexterity and coordination for working with small and intricate parts.
