Major Responsibilities:
- Gets all equipment ready for operation each day, checking condition of all equipment.
- Keeps department provided with the necessary supplies needed for plant sanitation.
- Keeps check on all supplies and informs supervisors as to their availability.
- Assists in assuring that proper sanitation of physical facilities meets USDA standards.
- Assists supervisor when needed and performs other duties as directed.
Position Requirements:
- In addition to meeting the basic qualifications for new employees, the employee must also meet the following qualifications:
- Must be in good physical condition.
- Must be able to work in cool, wet and humid conditions.
- Must be able to lift heavy weights.
