Position Overview
The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience by supervising front desk operations, training and mentoring team members, and resolving guest concerns in a professional and efficient manner. This position acts as a leader on duty and supports the Front Office Manager in driving service excellence and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Daily Operations : Oversee the front desk team to ensure efficient and accurate check-in / check-out processes, guest inquiries, and reservation management.
- Team Leadership : Train, mentor, and motivate front desk staff to deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining compliance with brand standards.
- Guest Service Excellence : Handle guest complaints and special requests promptly, ensuring a positive resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Administrative Duties : Assist in scheduling, payroll, and maintaining accurate financial records, including managing cash drawers and conducting audits.
- Collaboration : Work closely with other hotel departments to enhance the guest experience, communicate special requests, and resolve any operational challenges.
- Reporting : Provide regular updates to the Front Office Manager on team performance, guest feedback, and operational concerns.
