Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction at Hotel Effie, Autograph Collection located at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort. This position requires leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a dedication to delivering superior housekeeping services. The supervisor will oversee daily housekeeping operations, manage the team, and ensure that all areas of the hotel meet cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and motivate the housekeeping staff, ensuring service standards are met and exceeded.
- Schedule and assign daily tasks, inspections, and deep cleaning projects to the housekeeping team.
- Conduct regular room inspections to verify cleanliness and adherence to established standards.
- Oversee inventory management, maintaining an adequate supply of cleaning materials and linens.
- Collaborate with the Housekeeping Manager to set performance goals, monitor performance, and provide feedback to team members.
- Address guest requests, complaints, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure a safe and sanitary work environment by following all health and safety protocols.
- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process for new housekeeping staff.
- Prepare reports, maintain accurate records, and submit them to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance, to meet the hotel’s cleanliness and maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping experience in a supervisory role preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of housekeeping equipment and cleaning techniques.
- A strong customer service orientation.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:
