You'll also dive into data insights, track trends, manage budgets, and help ensure the marketing engine is running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to all incoming calls and emails directed to the marketing department, ensuring timely and professional responses to internal and external inquiries.
- Coordinate distribution of marketing materials and direct mailings.
- Research current market trends, guest demographics, and competitor activities to provide insights for strategy refinement.
- Compile and present reports on consumer demand and campaign performance.
- Vet new partnership and advertising opportunities to support business growth.
- Assist with budget maintenance, including monthly reconciliation and financial tracking.
- Create compelling marketing content, such as flyers, blog posts, app updates, and promotional materials, in line with brand guidelines.
- Assist in planning and executing resort-wide events and campaigns.
- Maintain marketing files, photography, and promotional inventory.
- Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill marketing needs and ensure consistency across all channels.
This role requires the ability to:
- Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours/day).
- Lift and carry materials up to 25 pounds (such as promotional inventory, event supplies, and marketing collateral).
- Perform repetitive hand and wrist movements (typing, writing, using office equipment).
- Occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, or reach overhead to retrieve or manage marketing materials and supplies.
- Work in a typical office environment and occasionally outdoors during resort events or photoshoots.
- Maintain visual acuity to prepare and inspect marketing materials and digital content accurately.
- Work flexible hours, including some weekends, holidays, and evenings for event support and deadline management.
- Enthusiastic and proactive mindset, with a genuine interest in marketing and hospitality.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Creative thinker with attention to detail and a keen eye for design and content quality.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with marketing tools, platforms, and software is a plus (but we’re happy to train the right candidate!).
