Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Junior Group Sales Manager. This entry-level position is perfect for someone who has a genuine passion for sales and is eager to embark on a rewarding career in the hospitality industry. While prior sales experience within hospitality, vacation rentals, or real estate is highly desired, we are also open to training the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Sales Growth: Actively identify and pursue new group sales opportunities within the hospitality industry.

2.    Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new clients and partners.

3.    Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, tailored to meet the specific needs of clients.

4.    Event Coordination: Collaborate with various departments to ensure the successful execution of group events and functions.

5.    Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to develop effective sales strategies.

6.    Sales Training: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

7.    Reporting: Generate regular sales reports and updates for management.

Qualifications:

    A passion for sales and a drive to exceed targets.

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

    The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Prior experience in sales within the hospitality, vacation rental, or real estate industry is highly desired but not mandatory. We are open to training the right candidate.

Physical Requirements:

    Walking: The role may involve walking throughout the resort's expansive property to meet with clients, tour event venues, and attend meetings. This may include walking on different surfaces, including concrete, sand, and grass.

    Standing: There will be instances where you may need to stand for extended periods during meetings, site visits, or events.

    Lifting: Occasional lifting of sales materials, brochures, and presentation materials may be required. While the lifting weight is typically minimal, physical strength to lift and carry such items is necessary.

    Driving: A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a vehicle are essential, as the role may involve visiting clients, off-site meetings, and property tours.

    Weather Conditions: Being located in a beachfront resort, you may need to work outdoors in various seasonal weather conditions, including exposure to sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, and occasional cooler temperatures. Appropriate attire and precautions should be taken to ensure comfort and safety.

    Travel: Some travel may be required for off-site meetings, trade shows, and industry events. This may involve air travel, driving, and overnight stays.
