Our NEW Bayside Café at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented Servers to join our team. Nestled in a stunning waterfront setting with breathtaking views of the bay and a vibrant poolside atmosphere, Bayside Café offers a unique and relaxing dining experience. As a Server, you will provide exceptional guest service by taking orders accurately, delivering food and beverages efficiently, and ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable visit. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and upholding the high standards of hospitality that define Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, courteous service.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen.
Serve meals and drinks in a timely manner while maintaining presentation standards.
Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in regularly and anticipating needs.
Process payments accurately using the POS system.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and service stations.
Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure seamless service.
Qualifications:
Previous serving experience in a fast-paced restaurant preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash and credit transactions.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequent bending, lifting, and carrying trays of food and beverages (up to 25 lbs).
Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including indoor and outdoor settings.
Comfortable navigating a busy and dynamic restaurant environment.
Working inside and outside in the elements.
