Customer Service Representative/Sales Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Customer Service and Sales Representative specializing in prefinished cabinets. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting clients with their inquiries, and driving sales of our prefinished cabinet products. Your primary focus will be on understanding customer needs, providing product information, and facilitating the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Answer inquiries about prefinished cabinets, including product features, specifications, pricing, and availability.
• Assist customers in selecting the right prefinished cabinets to meet their needs and preferences.
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are recorded correctly.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with their purchases and address any concerns or issues.
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the department.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market developments to effectively position our prefinished cabinets.
• Maintain a clean and organized showroom environment, ensuring that all displays are well-presented.
• Participate in product training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including pricing, discounts, and promotional guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or customer service is a plus.
• Proven experience in customer service and sales roles, preferably in the home improvement or construction industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with customers.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of prefinished cabinets and related products is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and become product proficient is essential.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications, including MS Office Suite and CRM software.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative work environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed to accommodate customer schedules and peak business hours.
