Veterinary CSR-Part Time

Sandia Animal Clinic is a busy three doctor practice that is looking for a Veterinary CSR to join our team.

The applicant will need to communicate clearly and accurately to doctors, clients and other staff members. We need someone who is not afraid to ask questions and someone who enjoys educating clients and helping them to understand the needs of their pets. Empathy is a priority. The ability to triage and Cornerstone software knowledge is a plus.

The ability to work in a busy environment is important. We try have to have fun while still getting the job done. We are open to feedback from our staff so that we can come together to be a great team.

Responsibilities

• Manage large amounts of incoming calls
• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
• Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
• Take the extra mile to engage customers

Skills

• Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
