Position Summary
Must Be A Sandia Tribal Member Between The Ages Of 14 21 Years To Apply. This Is Not Open To The Public Or Community Members
Under the supervision of selected department managers or the Recreation & Wellness Administrator, this position is responsible for participating in and adhering to the Summer Youth Internship guidelines as determined by the Summer Internship Program Guide. The objective plan is leadership development, tracking, and developmental opportunities and to create a match between the organization’s future needs.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Performs designated duties in the department for exposure to key position components depending on department needs.
- Attends required training related to the department and career development.
- Completes required paperwork outlined in the department or program guide.
4. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to
report to work based upon the assigned scheduled each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for
Pueblo Sandia.

This position has Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) identified as a measurement of success. KPI’s will be shared with all team members who work in this job title and feedback will be provided regarding the successful completion of the KPI’s as part of the performance review process

Education And Experience
Required
- Must be currently enrolled in an educational institution or have a High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Preferred
- Experience working with children.
Note: Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy education and/or work experience.
License/Certifications/Registrations
- Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New Mexico Driver’s License.
- Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
- Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.
