Position Purpose:
This position will increase the abilities of the accounting department to provide high-level analysis and tools to management that will allow them to make informed business decisions with accurate and reliable financial data.
Summary of Responsibilities:
This position will assist the Controller and Accounting Manager to allow them to provide added analysis to management.
This person shall exemplify the Sandridge Core Values at all times (Integrity/Ethics, Always Improving, Caring Employee Environment, Excellence in Reputation and Responsive Customer Service).
Key Specific Responsibilities:
Prepare account analysis for Sandridge Food Corporation and Mark D Sandridge, Inc.
• Prepare and enter recurring entries during the period end close process
• Prepare and enter journal entries during the period end close process
• Assist in the period-end closing of the SFC and MDS, Inc. companies
• Prepare weekly and period sales report information
• Management of company’s fixed assets
Summary of Authority Granted To This Position:
• This position has no direct reports.
Measurements of Performance:
• Accuracy and timeliness of completing all assigned tasks.
• Gradual and improved understanding of the company’s systems and flow of transactions up to Financial Statement preparation.

Qualifications for Position:
Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting is required.
Experience Preferences: 1 – 2 years previous experience as a staff accountant is ideal but not required
