We are currently seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our team. You will assist with managing the subcontractors, scheduling, and safety compliance. As the Assistant Superintendent you will have the opportunity to have direct impact on a project’s success.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assist with maintaining the overall project schedule.
- Schedule subcontractors and material deliveries.
- Inspect work in place and coordinate building inspections.
- Follow up behind subcontractors ensuring their work is complete, performed to Sands quality standards, and they have cleaned up their work area.
- Proactively identify and strategically solve problems.
- Maintain compliance with construction codes, and safety and government regulations.
- Help oversee internal and external team members, including subcontractors.
- Maintain project records including subcontracts, change orders, permits and drawings.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction management (preferred but not required)
- 1 years of experience managing onsite construction operations.
- Proficiency using Excel and Word
- Project management and scheduling software knowledge helpful.
