Position Overview:
As a Detailer at Sands Collision Center, you’ll be responsible for detailing vehicles before and after repairs. Your role will focus on delivering a pristine finish through cleaning, polishing, and ensuring that each vehicle looks its absolute best. If you have experience with wet sanding and buffing, that’s a bonus, as we value that skill set for achieving a smooth, flawless finish on every vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detail vehicles inside and out, including washing, waxing, vacuuming, and upholstery care.
- Perform light wet sanding and buffing to achieve a flawless, smooth finish on vehicle surfaces.
- Ensure vehicles are prepped and ready for the next steps in the repair or restoration process.
- Inspect vehicles for imperfections, addressing any issues or concerns with the team.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards.
- Assist other team members as necessary to keep the shop running smoothly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in wet sanding and buffing is preferred.
- Experience in an auto body shop or detailing environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
