STARTING SALARY: $21.91 - 22.50/hour.
Administrative support for the Sandy Arts Guild and the Sandy Amphitheater.
STATUS: Part-time (benefitted)
DEPARTMENT: Community Arts
SUMMARY: Under the direction and supervision of the Community Arts Director, provides a wide variety of administrative support and event planning for Community Arts.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree or certification from an accredited program in communications, business, hospitality, event planning, office management, or closely related field preferred. Two years of related work experience required; may substitute any equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Utah driver’s license is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, office management and clerical practices, cultural arts, purchasing system, correct English usage and spelling. Responsibility for the efficient operation of the Community Arts office; condition and use of materials and equipment; and the provision of input into decision making. Contacts with other departments as directed, furnishing and obtaining information; contacts requiring tact and judgment to avoid friction; frequent contact involving the carrying out of program and event responsibilities; frequent contact with public. Regular use of office equipment including a copy/fax machine, telephone, personal computer; regular use of ticketing system. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
