The resort encompasses 813 acres with Lake Monterey, a 216-acre lake and an 18-hole golf course. There are 2,200 seasonal member sites including a 54-unit year-round condo complex, campsites, cabins, and seasonal park model rentals. Job Summary
The Sales Administrative Support will be cross trained to assist the Sales and Marketing teams. They will serve as a frontline resource for new and prospective members and guests, oversee the scheduling and coordination of events at the North Shore Building, obtain signed agreements, answer questions, and secure payments. They will assist the Communications Manager with updating marketing communications and social media, as well as distributing marketing materials.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Schedule, coordinate, and confirm rental and event details for the North Shore Building.
· Review rental agreement, payment terms, and payment schedule with customers.
· Coordinate pre- and post- event North Shore Building cleaning.
· Communicate event schedules and needs with necessary departments.
· Process membership applications, run background checks, and collect processing fees.
· Update Dynamics365 and Club Prophet with incoming and outgoing member information.
· Assist Sales team with closings as needed.
· Create departmental Tasks to alert teams of follow-up items.
· Assist with booking, changing, and deleting camping and golf cart reservations.
· Assist with social media content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
· Support website updates and minor edits as needed.
· Capture photos/videos at major events for social media.
· Assist in running media equipment at Board of Director meetings.
· Print and distribute weekend flyers, event flyers, and other materials.
· Help with camping promotions, sales marketing, and e-news email campaigns.
· Assist with editing and publishing the monthly magazine.
· Provide support for emergent marketing and communication needs as they arise.
· All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Must be 18 years of age or older.
· High school diploma or GED.
· Must be able to work Friday evenings 1x monthly and occasional Saturdays, 8am-12pm April-September.
· Experience in an administrative or customer service role preferred.
· Must be comfortable with navigating social media pages and using video equipment (with training).
· Strong computer skills with knowledge of Outlook and MS Office Suite.
· Ability to multitask and shift priorities.
· Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail.
Working conditions
Fun team atmosphere with the opportunity to interact with other teams and members of the Park. Fast-paced environment in season May-September. This position involves working in indoor and outdoor environments in various weather conditions. It requires the employee to walk on various surface types throughout the day including, but not limited to, carpet, tile, cement, pavement, grass, and dirt. It also requires walking on uneven surfaces.
Physical requirements
· Must be able to frequently stand and sit for long periods of time.
· Must be able to frequently lift, push, pull, and move 25 Ibs.
· Must be able to occasionally lift, push, pull, and move 45 Ibs.
· Must be able to frequently bend, reach, and/or twist.
