As Facilities Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective supervision in the maintenance of landscape, equipment, and buildings. Supervises Facilities personnel. Promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest caliber service to all patrons/employees.

Responsibilities
- Foster an environment that embodies Sandy’s #ALL IN philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere. Enthusiastically promote Sandy’s culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations.
- Supervises and trains Facilities personnel.
- Establishes quality standards and work procedures for the maintenance staff and plans work schedules to ensure adequate maintenance.
- Inspects and evaluates the physical condition of buildings and equipment to ensure that established maintenance standards are consistently met.
- Responds promptly to emergency situations and ensures that service is restored, either temporarily or permanently, with minimum delay.
- Initiates, develops, and implements procedures to ensure the proper and safe operation of all equipment.
- Prepares and submits required budgets based on projected costs and needs. Reviews budgets on a regular basis to ensure objectives are met including budget tracking, forecasts, and review summaries.
- Plans and directs work schedules and assignments of duties. Maximizes efficiency of time and materials. Verifies accuracy of time sheets.
- Ensures that an adequate supply of materials is on hand at all times to meet daily operational requirements; including restocking and the order of materials or parts needed.
- Inspects work performed by Facilities team and performs tasks as needed in support of quality standards and trade craftsmanship.
- Inspects preventative maintenance on all landscaping equipment, irrigation systems, building and electrical components.
- Maintains logs and records. Prepares required reports and maintains operational and administrative records.
- Provides coaching and counseling of Facilities personnel. Ensures personnel are up to date on company policies and procedures.
- Hears grievances, counsels, and advises employees and reports actions to Facilities Manager.
- Performs normal supervisory duties and other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to acquire and maintain applicable Kentucky Horse Racing Commission licensing.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to plan, organize and complete work, as well as the ability to complete multiple assignments under time constraints logically and independently.
- Must possess basic computer knowledge and skills.
- Needs executive ability, knowledge of all trades, business and management training, and general knowledge of construction.
- General knowledge of construction with ability to read and comprehend blueprints and designs to include electrical, plumbing, mechanical and structural.
- Technical skills in the field of administrative housekeeping.
- Requires knowledge of chemicals, staff planning, payroll, purchasing, decorating, equipment records, budgeting, and inventories.
- Must have knowledge of Stratton Warren, ERM, Rapid and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College degree preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a related field required.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Working Environment
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time (minimum of four hours).
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency while performing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the casino; from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
- Must be able to lift, carry and/or push a minimum of 40 lbs.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, turn, push, pull, grasp objects and the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises, and bright lights.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed/
Physical/Mental Requirements
- Must be able to lift and handle up to 40lbs without assistance.
- Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, reach and turn/twist for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to solve problems, organize and plan multiple projects, interpret data, and make decisions.
- Must possess problem-solving skills.
