Job Title : CONCRETE PUMP OPERATOR (Bilingual Spanish REQUIRED)
Location : Miami, FL (at different construction sites as needed)
Salary : Up to $100k base salary (might be slightly negotiable depending on experience, plus bonus).
There are no health insurance offerings, so that responsibility / expense will fall on the employee. However there is PTO (paid time off) and 401k after 1 year of employment.
Job Summary :
The operator will be responsible for the operation of a concrete pump truck from driving to and from the jobsite, operation of the pump and keeping the equipment clean and in good operating condition. Safety is a crucial part of the job. The operator will be required to continually educate and improve their knowledge of all areas of concrete pumping. This is a highly competitive business, making the hours worked be irregular with many last minute changes
Essential Job Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and arrange equipment and staff for pours on a weekly basis
- Lead pumping team, approval of timesheets, arrange sequence and deliveries prior to pours
- Drive the pump truck in a safe, conscientious and lawful manner while complying with all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain all licenses, documents, and testing as required by law to operate equipment.
- Operate the pump in a safe, conscientious manner as required by the co. and any applicable governing agency.
- Immediate notification to the co. of any unsafe jobsite conditions.
- Assume sole responsibility of any and all decisions made in the course of performing their job and the consequences.
- Required to report immediately to management any and all incidents and accidents.
- Setup system, and clean out pump after the job while complying with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform light repair of pumps; Must know pump well enough to recognize problems and report them.
- Maintain excellent customer relations. Represent the co. through efficient work and a good attitude.
- Keep pump washed and free of any concrete and grease - keep system free of concrete.
- Keep yard neat and orderly - we do not tolerate littering.
- Maintain all licenses, documents and testing as required by law as it applies to the equipment assigned.
- Must be able to work long hours and overtime as required.
- Must stand to set-up, operate, tear down and wash down concrete pumper and equipment; to shovel dirt prior to setting outriggers; to operate pump remote; to monitor pour.
