We have several positions available in our Water Treatment, Pump, and Irrigation installation and service crews. We are looking for both experienced and apprentice level employees.
General responsibilities include the preparation, installation, and servicing of water treatment, pump and irrigation systems. As a customer-facing technician, your work will directly impact our customers and their water needs.
Role & Responsibilities
- Loading & unloading the installation and service trucks
- Assisting Lead Technicians with installations and service calls which include: Identifying, repairing, adjusting, and / or replacing pipe, fittings, filters, water treatment, pump and / or irrigation components
- Assisting with the work order, inventory and invoicing systems
- Collecting and processing water samples
- Transporting required materials & parts to job-sites
- Operating power tools
- Operating heavy machinery
- Organizing, stocking & cleaning the warehouse
- Organizing, stocking & cleaning company vehicles
Essential Skills
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Mechanically inclined, including the ability to assess, evaluate, and troubleshoot issues related to mechanical systems
- Ability to communicate clearly & effectively with other team members and customers
- Display an ability to learn & master new concepts
- Display strong initiative
- Technologically inclined, including the ability to use mobile apps to support paperless workflows
Requirements (depending on the position)
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Customer service experience – 1 year (preferred)
- Water treatment or irrigation installation and/or service experience - 6 months (preferred)
- Pump installation experience – 6 months (preferred)
- Smart phone with the ability to download applications
- Pass a criminal background check, driver's record check & a drug screening
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
