The job of Vehicle Mechanic is done for the purpose/s of supporting the educational process by providing
mechanic services with specific responsibility for identifying repair and replacement needs; performing
repairs and preventive maintenance; ensuring completion of projects in accordance with trade standards;
operating a school bus if needed; providing information on the proper uses of equipment; assisting other
mechanics; and ensuring that tools and materials are available at job site. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of increasingly responsible experience in the maintenance and repair of vehicles including heavy gasoline and diesel powered equipment. Relevant experience, education, certificates and/or licenses may be substituted.
Salary : $27 - $34
