Your Role:
- Support the GC and team with various tasks, including managing projects, organizing documents, and researching different topics, including SaaS agreements and compliance matters.
- Assist in completing commercial contracts by maintaining templates, proofreading documents, and gathering business information for schedules and appendices.
- Ensure all contracts are properly authorized and managed within our document management system.
- Help with corporate transactions, including document preparation, filings, and maintaining corporate records.
- Prepare and review confidentiality agreements with oversight from attorneys.
- Assist in maintaining all company insurance policies and assist with related documentation.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and assist with various special projects and assignments.
- Maintain flexibility in your schedule to meet project deadlines and support urgent priorities.
- Demonstrate excellent business judgment, a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a good sense of humor!
Your Background:
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar assistant role, ideally supporting senior management or working within a legal setting, but legal experience is not required.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all matters.
- Professional demeanor and effective communication skills to interact with all levels of management and external parties.
- Familiarity with cloud-based document management systems; experience with NetDocuments is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Google Suite applications. Advance or Pro at Microsoft Word a plus
- Knowledge of CRM software (preferably Salesforce), electronic signature tools (RightSignature preferred), and virtual data room applications is helpful but unnecessary.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to frame essential issues for review and propose solutions to improve departmental processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated and able to complete projects independently.
- Excellent prioritization skills to ensure timely and thorough completion of tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
