SUMMARY:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Schedule is M - F, 7 am to 3 pm.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Operates milling equipment.
• Monitors the mixing process to ensure the optimal process is maintained to produce the highest quality part and mixing expectations are met.
• Monitors assigned area for any safety issues that may arise.
• Reports any barriers that may jeopardize Safety, Quality, and / or Production.
• Troubleshoots milling and mixing issues as necessary to meet expectations.
• Exhibits good housekeeping at all times.
• This list is not all inclusive and other duties may be assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number.
• Experience working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) or laboratory environment.
• High initiative with the ability to work independently and problem solve with minimal supervision or direction.
• Must have a strong work ethic and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills: ability to interact with staff at all levels within the organization.
