What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Estimator position at SANJOSE CONSTRUCTION USA?
San Jose Construction Group, Inc has an immediate need for skilled Estimators, for both vertical and horizontal type of Projects, to join their Team. You will collaborate closely with the Chief Estimator and the Pre-Construction Manager, contributing to the financial success of Projects and driving overall Project excellence. A minimun experience of 2 years is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage construction budgets for Residential, Commercial and Heavy Civil Projects (vertical and horizontal Projects),
- Analyzing RFP’s / RFQ’s, construction drawings, specifications and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates for public and private bidding,
- Engage in effective oral and written communications with subcontractors regarding estimates, minority certifications, etc
- Coordinate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors, incorporating it into estimates,
- Oversee the appropriate distribution of documentation upon Project award,
- Maintain Project files and correspondence, ensuring organized documentation,
- Collaborate with Business Development, Pre-Construction and Construction Teams to ensure Project success,
- Foster positive relationships with Project Managers, Consultants and subcontractors,
