DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Employees will be trained to all applicable company standards as identified on the company training matrix TR-401
1. Deliver pre-production and prototype orders within the deadline by making internal arrangements with the production and purchasing teams and coordinating with the customer
2. Manage the progress of new model development tasks / schedules and issue alerts to related parties in the event of completion status or delays in required documents, etc. Promote accountability to finish tasks to agreed schedule.
3. Support the Engineering Team to development APQP plans and realization of those activities to achieve successful product launches (i.e., the achievement of Customer Specific Requirements and Sanko Gosei production efficiency objectives).
4. Participate in customer meetings and visits.
5. Submit all required quality documents accurately and on time.
6. Handle general affairs such as purchasing supplies and assisting business travelers with their travel preparations.
PREFERRED COMPETENCIES :
1. Strong organizational skill to anticipate, plan, organize and self-monitor workload.
2. Trained in APQP document development.
3. Ability to read and understand part prints.
4. Experience working with Subaru, Honda, Toyota and Mazda automotive plants.
5. Established knowledge in manufacturing processes.
6. Ability to travel internationally and domestic.
7. Must be able to competently use Plex and Microsoft office (Word / Excel and PowerPoint) when needed. (Plex training will be provided)
PHYSICAL REQUIIREMENTS :
- Movement : Standing for up to 8 hours, easily able to walk short distances up to 1000 feet, reasonable sitting and bending as required.
- Lifting : Carrying, pushing, and pulling carts / packages within the factory up to 30 lbs.
- Hand-eye coordination : Using hands to feel, handle, or finger objects, or to reach with arms
- Vision : Being able to see and respond to dangerous situations, close visual acuity to perform computer-based work, reading drawings, inspecting parts.
- Hearing : Being able to hear and respond to sounds
- Manual dexterity : Being able to move objects and assemble parts using limbs with good coordination, able to enter data into a computer using a keyboard.
- Balance : Being able to move safely within the factory and office areas
- Driving : Be able to drive to and from customer / supplier locations
