Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests by providing exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized bar area while ensuring that all guests feel welcome and attended to. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and ensure compliance with all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
- Assist with banquet services as needed, including setting up bars for events and catering functions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing orders and payments is advantageous.
- Strong cash handling skills along with basic math abilities for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- A friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes, wine pairings, and beverage trends is a plus but can be learned on the job.
