Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced SAP MM/PP Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing the SAP Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules to streamline our organization s supply chain, production, and inventory management processes. You will collaborate with business users to gather requirements, perform system configuration, and support integration between various SAP modules and other enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP MM/PP Implementation: Lead or assist in the full lifecycle of SAP MM/PP implementations, including blueprinting, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Requirements Gathering: Work with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements for MM and PP processes.
- System Configuration: Configure SAP MM and PP modules to meet business needs. This includes configuring master data (materials, vendors, BOMs, etc.), procurement processes, inventory management, production planning, and scheduling.
- Customization and Optimization: Optimize existing SAP MM/PP processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Integration Support: Ensure proper integration between SAP MM/PP and other SAP modules (such as SD, WM, or QM) or external systems.
- Testing and Validation: Plan, develop, and execute test cases to validate system functionality, ensuring that the configuration and custom developments are working as intended.
- User Training and Support: Provide training to end-users, ensuring they understand how to operate the system effectively. Offer post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation, including configuration guides, functional specifications, and training materials.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with new SAP features and updates. Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance SAP functionality.
