We have partnered with a leading manufacturer in the south metro. This will be a manufacturing engineering team of one that is great for someone that likes challenges and is very inquisitive. The Manufacturing Engineer recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods, and controls.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES :
- Performs research, design, and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods, and production equipment
- Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment
- Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new / revised products including establishing goals, training team members, and evaluating results
- Designs, develops, and tests and / or sources and justifies cost of various tools, machinery, and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods
- Performs product / process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency
- Prepare & revise CAD drawings to include flat patterns and all dimensions required to fabricate parts
- Develop CAD drawings of piece parts, weldments, and entire machines using electronic layouts, prints, drawings and other sources
- Prepare Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), subject to approval of product structures and item masters
HOURS :
This is a full-time 40 hour per week role working four ten-hour days Monday – Thursday between the hours of 6 : 00am and 6 : 00pm. Occasionally longer hours may be required.
