What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Hospital Reception/Front Desk position at Santa Ana Veterinary Hospital?
We have been providing veterinary care to community for over 40 years. We are a caring and growing practice located in Orange County, CA. Currently, we are looking to add people to our team to help with our growth. We are currently a two-doctor practice with plans on bringing on a third doctor. We are seeking a part-time receptionist, preferably bilingual (English/Spanish).
We are looking for an up beat, warm, professional, hard-working candidate with a friendly demeanor and a willingness to learn. You will be greeting clients as they come in, getting them signed in and everything ready so they can get their pets cared for.
**Afternoon availability is essential -- until 6:30pm Monday through Frida, and until 4:30pm on Saturdays.
An ideal candidate should be organized, self-motivated, able to multi task, have excellent communication and customer service skills within a team-oriented atmosphere, all while
demonstrating compassion and empathy towards pets and their parents.
Duties will include but not limited to:
-Filling Up The Schedule with Appointments
-Making Sure Appointments are Kept (reminding clients beforehand)
-Taking messages for technician callbacks.
-Greeting each individual that walks in the door warmly and cheerfully
-Maintaining exam room cleanliness prior to next appointment.
-Prepping charts
-Maintaining waiting room cleanliness
-Answering client questions
-Handling Multiple phone lines.
-Asking for referrals and following up to build up the practice with more quality clients
-Keeping the flow of the office running fast and efficient.
Veterinary Hospital Experience Preferred
Knowledge of eVet practice Preferred.
Operating days
Monday-Saturday
Closed on Sundays
Pay is based on experience.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
