Provides the highest level of Guest Service. Under direct supervision, accept deliveries, rotate, transfer and inventory food, restaurant supplies and equipment. Identify problems and perform basic maintenance and cleaning for food service equipment, restaurants and carts.

Support the food service department by handling deliveries and cleaning and maintaining facilities and equipment. Must be able to work at 5 a.m. on delivery days (usually Monday, Wednesday and Saturday) as well as a varied work schedule; 7 days a week including evenings, weekends and holidays. Must conform to company grooming standards. Carries a pager and radio. Must obtain a CA Food Handler card within 30 days of hire, or show proof of existing CA Food Handler card.

Job Tasks (in Order Of Importance)
- Answer guest questions and provide consistent helpful service to guests and staff.
- Accept deliveries and transfer goods to restaurants and storage.
- Clean and maintain restaurants and carts including washing and waxing floors, washing windows, cleaning grease traps, hoods, ice cream machines and other equipment
- Inspect products to assure quality and takes appropriate action for products not meeting standards.
- Check purchase orders for shortages and overs and informs management and the vendor of problems.
- Rotate products systematically in all restaurants and vending carts, using first in, first out method.
- Coordinate with the restaurant supervisor to enforce rotation procedures.
- Store all products consistently (i.e. frozen, refrigerated, dry products).
- Observe and report unsafe handling and storage of product and equipment.
- Maintain and clean storage areas.
- Clean food service equipment and make minor repairs.
- Maintain and take inventory of food, equipment and supplies and maintain inventory credit log.
- Drive a Cushman and operate a hand truck.
- May input and access data on computer.
- Complete paperwork (credits, transfers, etc.)
- Fill requests for other departments and maintain billing for products transferred.
- Work in restaurants as food service staff, give breaks and fill in as needed including assisting in supervision.
- Maintain 5 S Practices
- Other duties as assigned
- Assist in placing weekly orders for day to day deliveries.
- Responsible for training and scheduling staff.
- Responsible for coordinating and assigning work tasks.
- Review and observe staff productivity.
- Verify tasks are completed accurately.
- Document credit invoices and deliveries.
- Responsible for placing weekly orders for day to day deliveries.
- Complete Safety and Guest service observations of staff
- Assist in performance reviews of staff.
- Report vending issues to Coca-Cola vending repair.
- Other duties as assigned.

Training And Experience

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Ability to clean, mop, wash windows and perform basic repairs.
- Ability to keep accurate records and prepare reports.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to effectively use proper lifting techniques and safe working practices.
- Ability to safely drive a standard Cushman and operate a hand truck.
- Ability to assist with product deliveries, including loading and unloading of products weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to use a pallet jack.
- Ability to obtain CA Food Handler card within 30 days of hire.
- Able to move and lift equipment and products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day and walk up and down stairs.
- Able to perform lifting, bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and carrying .
- Able to hear normal conversations on the telephone and in person in a noisy environment.
