Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations front desk, including greeting customers, managing lane assignments, handling payments, supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, resolving issues, and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the front desk area, all while adhering to bowling center policies and procedures
Unique Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to maintain focus and professionalism while engaging with guests in a friendly and positive manner, even in high-traffic situations.
- Strong aptitude for performing calculations quickly and accuracy.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of efficiently managing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using FileMaker Pro and spreadsheet programs (e.g., Excel) for data management and reporting.
Job Tasks
- Handles lane assignments, rentals, and cash transactions.
- Supervise and train front desk staff on proper procedures, customer service standards, and cash handling.
- Assist with break and lunch coverage.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback.
- Monitor lane availability, manage lane assignments, including reservations and group bookings.
- Ensure compliance with bowling center policies and safety regulations.
- Handle guest complaints in a positive and friendly manner.
- Answer phones; handle inquiries.
- Ensure optimal guest experience, ensuring all safety regulations are followed.
- Generate daily sales reports.
- Manage accurate records of customer information.
- Assist with general accounting tasks as assigned by Bookkeeper.
- Assist with inventory management.
- Assist guests with problems that may occur by contacting porter or mechanic. (Problems include scoring corrections, sticky approaches, removal of balls trapped under lane, etc.).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Training and Experience
- Guest Service Experience.
- Clerical accounting or equivalent education required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to upholding company standards.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to interact with customers in a positive and helpful manner.
- Strong communication skills for both written and verbal format.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and reservations software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritizing customer needs and maintain smooth flow of operations.
- Accurately handling cash transactions and calculating costs.
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures.

Physical Requirements
