The Senior Director, Quality develops, implements, leads, and coordinates site Quality department staff, strategy, and related programs. The Senior Quality Director ensures company compliance with all required regulations and company policies with a focus on continuous improvement and building a world-class quality organization. Additionally, this position is responsible for managing FDA inspections and customer audits and is a senior member of the site leadership team.
Estimated starting annual base salary is $194,253.58 - $291,380.38 per year less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. Please note that the actual compensation offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined by the Company, which may include, but is not limited to, location, experience, qualifications, education, skillset, and market conditions. The target base compensation for this role is in the low to middle of the range, with the top of the range reserved for only exceptional circumstances. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary, variable annual incentive, paid based on Company performance factors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain Quality Management System in compliance with all government regulations including monitoring of current industry regulatory environment to assure compliance.
- Actively participate as a member of the site leadership team.
- Develop and implement Quality plan to achieve targets aligned with Company strategic plan.
- Oversee development, implementation, and improvement of the Quality System in compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Develop, implement, track, analyze, and communicate key Quality metrics.
- Work closely with commercial, operations, supply chain, and logistics teams in the areas of product and process quality improvements, inspection coordination, and testing requirements.
- Partner interdepartmentally (e.g. Regulatory, Operations, Supply Chain, etc.) where improvements and execution of relevant preventive controls are required.
- Coordinate new project work with leadership team. Oversee and monitor company projects to ensure quality is not compromised.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and drive solutions. Measure and communicate progress as identified issues move towards lasting solutions.
- Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements and trends and develop plausible solutions.
- Oversee department budget and associated costs including compliance and schedules for training.
- Manage and lead internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with other departments to help coordinate efforts for new product roll outs and other cross departmental projects.
- Attend appropriate scientific and professional meetings and keep current knowledge on technological advances pertaining to Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Regulatory, and manufacturing control systems.
