What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant - The Peters Corporation position at Santa Fe Dining?
Our multi-entity company based in downtown Santa Fe is looking for a full-time Staff Accountant!
Duties would include:
- On-site work schedule M-F 8:30am-5:00pm
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Statements for multi-related party company as assigned.
- Prepare supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP.
- Bank, account, intercompany, balance sheet, loan, and long-term debt reconciliations.
- Maintain Fixed Assets Registers and calculate depreciation.
- Assist with Treasury.
- Assist with biweekly payroll.
- Additional tasks as assigned.
Skills required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Team Player.
- Current accounting software - MS Dynamics and MRI.
- Solid General Ledger and Financial Statement preparation skills.
- Ability to learn quickly, develop efficiency and meet deadlines.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
- Accounting/Bookkeeping - 2 years preferred.
- Payroll - 2 years preferred.
- Must provide current/active identification to work in the United States.
