Job Description:
As a Carpet and Tile Technician, you will be the face of our company, representing Santa Fe Floor Care in customers' homes. Your main responsibilities will include operating our truck-mounted cleaning equipment, ensuring top-notch results for our clients, and delivering excellent customer service with every job. You’ll be responsible for greeting customers, answering questions about pricing, and providing detailed information about our services. This role requires both technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills, as you will be working closely with clients and their property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up the work truck and drive to customers' homes for scheduled appointments.
• Set up and operate truck-mounted carpet cleaning machines.
• Meet and greet customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Discuss pricing with clients and answer any questions about quoted prices.
• Perform manual labor tasks, including lifting at least 100 lbs and shifting furniture as needed.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain cleanliness and hygiene while in customers' homes.
• Provide exceptional service and build rapport with clients to encourage repeat business.
• Maintain the company vehicle and cleaning equipment in good working order.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in carpet and tile cleaning or a similar field.
• Ability to lift at least 100 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
• Experience with truck-mounted carpet cleaning equipment is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally with customers.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Must be polite, respectful of others' homes, and maintain high hygiene standards.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
