IT Coordinator (Full-Time)

We provide more than 2,500 individuals with educational tools and resources to build strong families, promote healthy residents, and foster neighborhood revitalization. Our Price Hill Family Centers provide a welcoming environment and the coaching, support, and flexibility to assist families to achieve their identified goals toward stabilization and self-sufficiency. We are currently looking for a Full-Time IT Coordinator to help support our mission. This position pays $55,300 annually.
IT Coordinator Position Overview: Proactive monitoring & daily review of Endpoint Detection & Response system, network, firewall and traffic logs; remediate or escalate alerts as necessary. Monitor server process to ensure system uptime. Troubleshoot (identify & correct) problems with hardware & software as they develop and as indicated by the agency helpdesk ticketing system. Install (configure, setup & place) new hardware & software, including servers, end user equipment, network devices, printers, IP & cell phones. Log & track all IT assets. Perform routine maintenance (upgrades, patches, surveys, etc.) on all agency systems on a regular basis. Security patches classified as critical or high must be applied within 30 days of release. Coordinate & facilitate the deployment of new installations or projects & gauge/gather user requirements/needs. Report on function & status of agency systems as required by Executive Team. Travel between agency sites. Manage agency’s Microsoft Active Directory including the maintenance of users & computers as well as deployment of group policies. Administer & monitor agency’s Azure AD/Microsoft 365 hosted environment. Develop & maintain appropriate documentation for all tasks. Implement, document & maintain appropriate technical controls in support of agency security & privacy policies. review and recommend changes in agency IT policies & procedures to ensure compliance and agency standards are met. Work closely with agency’s vendors & consultants. Train & motivate end users in the proper usage of designated software & equipment. Provide technical/helpdesk support for annual EITC tax prep program at remote location. Adhere to agency policy, procedures, and the professional code of ethics. Seek relevant training opportunities for professional growth and development. Participate in regular staff meetings, staff training programs and supervisory sessions. Satisfactorily complete any other special assignments as requested by supervisor.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Familiarity with IT asset management systems, helpdesk ticketing systems, and security monitoring systems. Familiarity with security and compliance requirements such as PCI, HIPPA, FERPA, and GLBA. A strong understanding of both legacy and emerging technologies including mobile platforms and cloud services. Great written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation of IT architecture, standards, and procedures. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems logically and methodically. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work well independently or in a group and excellent time management skills. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. Strong sense of and respect for confidentiality.
