What are the responsibilities and job description for the Local Route Driver Class C - San Diego area! position at Santa Monica Seafood Company?
Santa Monica Is Looking for a class C Driver to join our San Diego Location! This a great opportunity to join a fast-growing company. Training, equipment, and new uniforms are provided!
- The driver will operate a Class C - Bobtail
- Drivers will have pre-assigned routes to ensure timely delivery of our product to our customers, in a professional and customer service-oriented manner.
- Performs routine daily pre-trip and post-trip inspection to ensure the vehicle is road safe and reports any mechanical defects condition to Lead Driver/Supervisor.
- Ensures that manifests are completed and accurate. Loads truck with daily merchandise to be delivered as well as unload merchandise for the customer.
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs.
- Provides assistance to resolve customer issues
- Ensures timely delivery of the product to our customers
- Food delivery experience preferred, but not required
- Must be willing to work early A.M shift / Monday – Saturday / 2 years exp.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
•Good customer service skills
•Strong organization skills & communication skills
•Work cooperatively with others
•Valid Driver's License
•Clean DMV Record
Must submit a copy of your most recent DMV report (3 yrs.) to be considered.
