Duties are performed in an office environment. Position Duties / Responsibilities
Commercial
- Develop, manage, and retain relationships with EAMS and their final clients. As part of the commercial team, participates in the Bank’s private banking efforts throughout the different countries where the EAMs are based.
- Maintain the High-Net-Worth client relationships presented by the EAMs.
- Work both with existing EAMS and potential new EAMs in order to grow existing Assets Under Management and to establish new relationships.
- Responsible for the "local support bankers" accounts to ensure increasing volume and revenues
- Supports "local support bankers" in solving and identifying resources and information within the Bank
- Acquire new EAMs and assign them to "local support bankers"
- Review and analyze EAMs documents (corporate financial reports, shareholders, articles of incorporation, etc.) in order to complete the "EAM form" and prepare the onboarding process with legal and compliance departments.
- Ensures compliance with internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies.
- Review new EAMs and new accounts before and after Business Risk Working Group.
- Communicate to "local support bankers" the goals and objectives set for the period (annual and/or 4 month-periods).
- Helps to drive collaboration across BPI, promotes communication.
Specialized Knowledge
- Experience in dealing with wealthy institutional-type clients, family offices and multifamily offices or external asset managers.
- Extensive market and customer knowledge (including Latin American idiosyncrasies).
- Demonstrated leadership
- Strong knowledge of banking and regulatory documentation requirements.
- Adaptable/flexible; forward thinking.
- Strong financial acumen.
Technical Knowledge
- Strong sales and management skills
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution
- Strong organizational skills.
- Exceptional communications skills, written and oral.
