POSITION SUMMARY
The IT manager is a member of the cooperate management team and always demonstrates ethical and professional behavior while promoting the company vision, mission, and core values. You will work closely with the rest of our team to ensure that Isanti, LLC is using the most up-to-date technology to run our business. You will oversee and ensure the secure and effective operation of all computer systems, related applications, hardware, and software used within the company.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit, train, and supervise IT employees. Communicate job expectations and monitor performance.
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness for the IT department
- Manages and coordinates all IT-related matters including data, wireless communications, mobile technology, telephony, security, and computer hardware and software
- Trouble-shoots and solves problems related to hardware, software, and network problems
- Monitors network utilization and performance, implements procedures for network optimization, reliability, and availability
- Build long term relationships with outside vendors for IT related products and services
- Plan and oversee the installation and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, and networks
- Develop and implement policies related to network security, disaster recovery, and IT infrastructure
- Analyze resource utilization and develop strategies to optimize performance
- Establish, measure, and define IT goals and maintain an IT roadmap
- Monitor and analyze the success of IT initiatives and projects and continually develop and evaluate new technologies and tools for the company
- Manage development projects to integrate new technologies into existing systems
- Perform ongoing support and maintenance of all hardware, software, and network components
- Establish a security policy to protect company information and resources
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of experience working in IT operations
- Proven Experience in managing IT infrastructure and services
Skills Knowledge and Abilities
- Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
- Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
