Job Summary:
The Lead Teacher provides a learning environment for children and families, fostering growth and development in early childhood settings.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements weekly lesson plans.
- Encourages parent volunteerism in the classroom.
- Conducts child screenings, evaluations, and referrals, with follow-up as needed.
- Maintains open communication with other teachers for consistency in program services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or related field preferred.
- Associate Degree in Childhood Development with five (5) years' experience in a preschool setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid New Mexico driver's license.
- Fluency in English; Keres language speakers welcome.
- Ability to pass a physical examination, background check, and drug screening.
- First Aid/CPR certification and Food Handlers certification required.
