Location: Chicago, IL (3 days onsite per week)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Senior Analyst / Lead to join our team for a significant role in our SAP S4 Hana implementation project. This position is essential for optimizing and managing the Production Planning module within the SAP S4 Hana environment. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in SAP PP, with a proven track record in S4 Hana implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP PP Implementation: Lead and support the implementation of SAP S4 Hana for the Production Planning module. Ensure the system is configured to meet business requirements and industry best practices.
• Process Optimization: Analyze and enhance production planning processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and leverage SAP S4 Hana capabilities to drive process improvements.
• Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize the SAP PP module to align with specific business needs. Ensure that the system is set up to optimize production planning and scheduling processes.
• Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables related to the SAP PP module. Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and ensure successful delivery of the PP component.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide project updates, and address any concerns or issues. Ensure alignment between business needs and system functionalities.
• Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality and performance of the SAP PP module. Identify and resolve any issues or defects that arise during testing.
• Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures. Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective adoption and utilization of the new system.

Required Skills and Experience:

• SAP S4 Hana Implementation: Extensive experience in implementing SAP S4 Hana, specifically within the Production Planning (PP) module. In-depth knowledge of SAP PP functionality and configuration.
• Process Improvement: Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling processes. Demonstrated ability to optimize these processes within an SAP environment.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in configuring and customizing the SAP PP module. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues effectively.
• Project Management: Experience in managing SAP projects, including defining project scope, coordinating activities, and ensuring timely completion of project milestones.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at various levels and clearly explain technical concepts.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on addressing challenges and providing innovative solutions.

Education and Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• SAP certification in PP or related areas is highly desirable.

Work Environment:

• This role requires onsite presence in Chicago, IL for 3 days per week. The remaining work can be performed remotely.
