What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jr SAP PP Analyst position at TEKsystems?
We are looking for a Jr level SAP PP BA to support one of our medical device clients on site in Chicago. This role will be on site 3-4 days/week and client is unwilling to pay travel expenses. This is providing support on their PP (DS and PI) and EWM systems. This is a little lower level (3 years of experience).
* This working within their Manufacturing facility supporting business users within SAP PP-DS and PI and EWM.
* EWM warehouse/inventory management experience and understanding the warehouse process
*Description*
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for implementing and supporting SAP solutions to meet business-related requirements. The Business systems Analyst collaborates with the business process teams to understand current and future business processes and requirements to ensure technology investments support and enhance strategic objectives. This role acts as a liaison between IT support team and end users to ensure technical compatibility and satisfaction of deliverables, while creating and maintaining detailed system documentation, including user and functional requirement specifications, test scripts, SOPs, and work instructions.
Responsibilities:
Contributes to strategy sessions and help guide business management in their use of SAP.
* Partners with department leadership to create an open dialog to identify issues and derive enhancement priorities.
* Continually scout for business process improvements and support the business in attaining the highest levels of productivity.
* Prioritizes business requirements and communicating plans with stakeholders for review and approval.
* Translates business requirements into business-based solutions and ensures an ultimately working solution in SAP or third-party applications.
* Troubleshoots SAP business process in the SCM, PP, EWM, QM and MDG modules as well as interfaces, providing resolution and improvements as required.
* Collaborates with customers to achieve an outcome to meet business objectives.
* Follow up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved.
Requirements
* Bachelor of Information Systems, Engineering, Science or equivalent experience
* 3 years of SAP implementation and/or operation and maintenance experience across the following - Batch Management, Demand Planning, MRP, Production Planning Detailed Scheduling (PP-DS), Production Execution (PP-PI), Quality Management, Inventory Management (EWM)

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00/hr.
